The AIR7000 Phase 2B Pavements Upgrade project, delivered by Sitzler for Defence, enhanced facilities enabling the introduction of Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft to Australia. The project involved redeveloping 91,000m² of aircraft hardstands, including new pavements, aeronautical ground lighting, fuel hydrants, stormwater drainage, electrical and communication upgrades, apron floodlighting, and a new aircraft rinse facility across the 20-hectare RAAF Darwin site.
